T.F.P. a polymer sealant was developed many years ago for the auto industry, to keep paint from oxidizing from the sun and the elements. When paint applications changed so did T.F.P., so that the polymer bonded with the clearcoat. Much better than waxes and is much harder to penatrate than all waxes. T.F.P. was made better to resist stains. Free Amines become present so as to resist and make acid based stains such as ,bug, bird, tree sap, acid rain, much easier to remove.
T.F.P. is sold primarily, as a premium paint protection packages for several hundreds of dollars, through Autmobile dealers.
